Refund Eligibility and Terms

Our refund policy is designed to protect both students and OrbitRoute while ensuring fair access to our educational content. Understanding these terms will help you make informed decisions about your enrollment.

Important: All refund requests must be submitted in writing within the specified timeframes outlined below. Verbal requests cannot be processed.

  • Full refunds available within 14 days of course enrollment with less than 25% content completion
  • Partial refunds (75% of fees) available within 30 days with less than 50% content completion
  • No refunds available after 60 days from enrollment date or upon course completion
  • Medical emergency exemptions considered on case-by-case basis with proper documentation
  • Technical issues preventing access must be reported within 48 hours for refund consideration
  • Group enrollment discounts are non-refundable but transferable to other participants

We track course progress automatically through our learning management system. Progress includes video completions, assignment submissions, and forum participation. Students can view their completion percentage in their dashboard at any time.

Refund Request Process

Submit Written Request

Email your refund request to [email protected] including your enrollment details, reason for refund, and preferred refund method. Include your student ID and enrollment date.

Application Review

Our team reviews your application within 3-5 business days. We'll verify your enrollment status, completion percentage, and eligibility based on our policy terms.

Decision Notification

You'll receive written confirmation of our decision via email. If approved, we'll outline the refund amount and expected processing timeline.

Payment Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days. Credit card refunds appear within 3-5 business days, while bank transfers may take 7-14 days.

Payment Methods and Processing Times

Refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method used during enrollment. Here's what to expect based on your payment type:

  • Credit Cards: Refunds appear within 3-5 business days after processing approval
  • PayPal: Instant refund processing, funds available immediately in your PayPal account
  • Bank Transfer: 7-14 business days depending on your financial institution
  • Corporate Payments: Processed within 10-15 business days with invoice adjustments
  • Cryptocurrency: Refunded in AUD equivalent to designated bank account within 5-7 days

Please Note: Processing fees charged by payment providers are non-refundable. International students may incur additional currency conversion fees that are not covered by OrbitRoute.

For students who paid through employers or third-party sponsors, refunds will be processed directly to the original payer unless written authorization is provided to redirect funds.

Special Circumstances and Exceptions

We understand that unexpected situations can impact your ability to complete our programs. OrbitRoute considers the following circumstances for special refund consideration:

  • Documented medical emergencies affecting the student or immediate family members
  • Military deployment or sudden relocation requirements for work purposes
  • Technical platform issues that prevent access for more than 7 consecutive days
  • Course cancellation or significant content changes initiated by OrbitRoute
  • Natural disasters or emergencies affecting the student's geographical area

Special circumstance reviews require supporting documentation and are evaluated individually. We aim to respond to these requests within 5-7 business days and may offer alternatives such as course deferrals or credit transfers.

Alternative Options: Instead of refunds, students may consider transferring enrollment to future course dates or switching to different program tracks within 90 days of original enrollment.

This refund policy applies to all OrbitRoute budget negotiation courses and programs launched from January 2025 onwards. Students enrolled in programs prior to this date should refer to the policy version active at their enrollment time.
